Automatic Data Quality Validations
To make sure that all emission calculations and regulation values are correct, Emission+ tries to automatically check your report data for data quality issues.
The system can be configured to notify the crew on board about severe quality issues via email.
Completeness
When operators enter data in SDBNet, they may generate incomplete reports that end up in Emission+. These reports often contain invalid values, which can skew downstream calculations — so we flag them.
Recent ROB Sounding
Most regulations are dealing with net consumption values. To make sure that gross and net consumption aren't diverging, vessel operators have to regularly perform measurements of fuels remaining on board.
Sounding should be performed at least once a month, and preferably way more frequently. Our system will flag any report that is not covered by a sufficiently close future sounding report.
