UK ETS Launch

We're thrilled to announce that Emission+ now supports calculating your obligations under the upcoming UK Emissions Trading Scheme! You will find the data for your ship where UK MRV information used to be. For more information on UK ETS, also have a look at our docs article.

Before you start, please keep the following important points in mind:

• To give you an impression of the functionality, we have preview mode enabled, which will also count emissions before UK ETS officially takes effect. We will change this behavior as soon as the scheme is active (July 1st), but for now you can already see how your emissions would be counted under UK ETS.
• The handling of biofuels is not completely clarified yet. For now, we handle them as we do under EU ETS, but this might change in the future. Be aware that this may require action from you, but we'll keep you updated!
• As we currently don't have support for UK Monitoring Plans, you need to set up details for potential ice class and LNG engines in your EU MRV monitoring plan. We might also update this in the future!
